A Change in Plans
The Mid-Atlantic’s Premier Developer’s Conference, Philly Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise, was scheduled to take place at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City on April 14 to 15, 2020. For 2020 only, Philly ETE has moved live online — due to COVID-19.
Nearly all speakers have agreed to be part of the conference. There will only be a few adjustments to the schedule. The format of the conference will be the same as if it were in person. We are disappointed as this is not ideal, but Chariot Solutions takes the safety of our community seriously. We know part of what makes Philly ETE so great is seeing friends, colleagues, and co-workers for these two days.
But what also makes Philly ETE so great is the content. And with almost every tech conference being cancelled or postponed, Chariot and the ETE committee is taking a leap and moving the conference online. We hope you will take the leap with us.
About Philly ETE
Entering its 14th year, Emerging Technologies Conference has brought the leaders of the open source community to Philadelphia to teach about their projects, their work and how these technologies are changing software development. During this time, ETE has become one of the largest gatherings of developers in the mid-Atlantic.
Our speakers are down-in-the-dirt engineers; core committers, big-picture folks like CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, SVPs; architects, pioneers, leading trainers and authors, and of course, the founders of companies you know and love.
Philly ETE does not focus on one technology or language exclusively. Our program includes talks about emerging technologies developers should be aware of this spring, as well as sessions about the software development process. Particular technologies will be completely new to some attendees, while others will have experimented with them, and still others will have used them in production. The content committee curates talks that will engage those who are familiar with a topic, but that those with no experience with it will still be able to follow.
